The numbers I have so far
On October 8, 2026, Tu Música sent me the first royalty statement for “Camisa 10”. These are the figures for my songs, what is missing and what still cannot be checked.
The first statement starts in July
“Camisa 10” came out on June 9, 2026. Tu Música sent me this document as the first royalty statement. It is titled “September 2026”, and all 8,217 of its lines are from July 2026, the 1st to the 31st.
It does not include June, the month of the release. Nor August or September. And Tu Música's portal does have June: 2,546,345 streams of my songs from June 9 to 30.
If this is the first one, where is June?
Platforms often report one or two months late. Even so, a first statement should start with the month of the release. My contracts call for a statement every month, no later than the fifth business day.
- Month the statement covers
- July
- Streams accounted for
- 1.7M
- Credited to my company
- R$4,408
- Paid so far
- R$0
What their own portal shows
Along with the statement, Tu Música gave me access to its portal. These are the streams of my songs that the portal records, next to the ones the statement accounts for. Both figures come from Tu Música.
| Period | Tu Música's portal | Royalty statement |
|---|---|---|
| June 9 to 30 | 2,546,345 | Not included |
| July | 2,354,521 | 1,728,202 |
| August 1 to September 7 | 739,120 | Not included |
| Total | 5,639,986 | 1,728,202 |
The portal records 5,639,986 streams of my songs between June 9 and September 7, 2026. The statement accounts for 1,728,202.
That leaves 3,911,784 streams unaccounted for: all of June, the July difference, and August through September 7.
June is in their portal. Why is it not in the statement?
July, platform by platform
| Platform | Tu Música's portal | Royalty statement |
|---|---|---|
| Spotify | 1,163,616 | 1,425,972 |
| YouTube | 1,133,608 | 178,376 |
| Apple | 31,518 | 58,138 |
| Amazon | 23,680 | 65,570 |
On Spotify, Apple and Amazon, the statement reports more streams than the portal. On YouTube, far fewer: the portal records 1,133,608 in July and the statement accounts for 178,376.
According to the portal, the most played song in July was “La Diez”. In the statement, “La Diez” has 103,110 streams, fewer than seven of my other songs.
I do not know what explains these differences. Both sources are Tu Música's, and it is up to Tu Música to explain them.
Figures from Tu Música's portal, checked on October 8, 2026. In the YouTube row, the statement adds YouTube and YouTube Music; in the Amazon row, all of its services. A portal and a statement can measure different things, so I am not claiming the difference is money I am owed, only that it needs an explanation.
Song by song
What the statement reports for each of my twelve songs in July 2026. Versions of the same song that appear separately are added together.
| Song | Streams | Share applied to my company | Credited to my company |
|---|---|---|---|
| “Titular” | 441,749 | 50% | R$2,580.26 |
| “La Diez” | 103,110 | 50% | R$347.84 |
| “Siente la Magia” | 210,382 | 10% | R$256.49 |
| “La Copa” | 56,743 | 50% | R$216.43 |
| “Si Gano la Copa” | 208,818 | 10% | R$198.31 |
| “Gol de México” | 54,921 | 50% | R$185.09 |
| “Soy Mexicano” | 131,322 | 10% | R$136.89 |
| “Bajo Perfil” | 141,288 | 10% | R$130.08 |
| “Tiki Taka” | 134,192 | 10% | R$112.54 |
| “Ola” | 122,493 | 10% | R$107.62 |
| “Mías” | 59,112 | 10% | R$87.91 |
| “La Verde” | 63,572 | 10% | R$48.92 |
| Total | 1,727,702 | R$4,408.40 |
I compared the share for four songs with their contracts, and it matches: “Titular”, “La Diez”, “La Copa” and “Siente la Magia”.
Figures as reported by Tu Música, in Brazilian reais. The last column adds up to R$0.02 less than the document's total because of rounding. The statement also includes a line for “Pal Centro y Pa Dentro”, by LOBO66, with 500 streams and R$0. I asked for an explanation.
What cannot be checked
- Gross revenue. The “Gross Value” column is zero on all 8,217 lines. Without it, there is no way to know what was deducted before my share was calculated, or to check the caps in my contracts. In “Titular”, for example, the distribution fee cannot exceed 12% and total deductions cannot exceed 25%.
- “Agua” and “Equipo Preferido”. They do not appear on any line. I still do not know how much they earned while they were online.
- June, August and September 2026. They are not in the document.
- The payment. The document states what my company is owed for July, but the money has not arrived. My contracts allow twenty business days to pay once the statement is available.
Where they were played
Streams of my twelve songs in July 2026, according to the same document:
- Mexico
- 536,723
- United States
- 277,453
- Spain
- 131,111
- Brazil
- 112,540
- Colombia
- 103,978
Brazil accounted for 6.5% of the total.
What I asked for on October 8, 2026
- From Tu Música: the statements for June, August and September, gross revenue and each deduction per song, and confirmation of the share for each one.
- From Tu Música: a full report of what “Agua” and “Equipo Preferido” have earned since June 9, 2026, and that this money be kept separate. Any payment for those two songs is not a license.
- From Tu Música: payment in U.S. dollars, to the account written in my contracts. I accept what they pay as a partial payment, without waiving any claim.
- From Tu Música: notice of an audit of the books for “Titular”, as that contract allows.
- From Warner Music Brasil: the share the distributor keeps, the gross revenue reported to Tu Música, and whether it holds a signed authorization for “Agua” and “Equipo Preferido”. I asked for an answer by October 15, 2026.
Why I publish these figures
The document carries a footer from Tu Música that marks it as confidential. That is why I do not publish it. I publish only the figures for my own songs and what my company is owed.
The confidentiality clause in my contracts protects information about the project before release and the private matters of Ronaldinho and the other parties. It does not mention royalty statements. In the “Titular” contract, Tu Música also undertakes to protect my company's information, and these figures belong to my company.
I do not publish what the other co-producers receive or the total revenue of each song.
Figures taken from royalty statement TMUIN1017, which Tu Música sent me on October 8, 2026. They are the figures Tu Música reports; I have not been able to verify them. The reading of the contracts is mine, not a court's. If Tu Música considers any figure wrong, I will correct it: contacto@juegolimpioenlamusica.com.
