Fair Play in Music

What was promised and what happened

What I was offered before signing, what my contracts say and what I was told afterwards, next to what happened. I do not publish the proposal, the contracts or private messages: I summarize what they say and keep the originals.

Tu Música and its chief executive, Roni Maltz Bin

Roni Maltz Bin is listed as Tu Música's chief executive in public docket 26-CCB-0551. He invited me to the project and signed my contracts.

Tu Música's written proposal

Before signing

What was promised

Ronaldinho would put his image to work for each song: stories on his accounts during the campaign and feed posts made in collaboration with him.

What happened

Some of my songs had stories on Ronaldinho's accounts; not all of them. The feed post I know of is a carousel from June 9, 2026 with the covers of the whole album, with no mentions in its text.

Tu Música's written proposal

Before signing

What was promised

In Brazil, a digital marketing structure ready to amplify the project and give it real exposure: playlists, YouTube channels, social media, influencers and campaigns on Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and Kwai.

What happened

According to its own royalty statement, in July 2026 Brazil accounted for 6.5% of the streams of my twelve songs: 112,540. On YouTube, 2,089 in the whole month. It is in The numbers.

My contracts for “La Copa”, “La Diez” and “Siente la Magia”

Signed between April and May 2026

What was promised

For each song, at least five stories and three feed posts on Ronaldinho's accounts, devoted only to that song. Each one had to mention and tag the artists, the producers and Secret Hit. The contract calls it a material obligation.

What happened

I do not know of any post that mentions or tags me, the other producers or Secret Hit. Nor do I know of three feed posts devoted to each of those songs.

What was promised

That he believed “Camisa 10” would be the biggest Latin project ever released.

What happened

His first royalty statement accounts for 1,728,202 streams of my twelve songs, July only. His own portal records 5,639,986 between June 9 and September 7. Payment is still pending. It is in The numbers.

What was promised

That there was no way Ronaldinho could record videos for the songs, because of his schedule, and that it had already been very hard to get him time to record the vocal for the song with Pitbull.

What happened

Even so, “Bajo Perfil” and “La Verde”, which I produced, were announced as songs by “Ronaldinho Gaúcho feat.”. My sessions for both contain no track with his voice. It is in Ronaldinho.

What was promised

That Ronaldinho's deliverables were going more slowly, that some had already been done, that they would happen and that they would be done for everyone.

What happened

As of October 9, 2026, some of my songs had stories and others did not. No post I know of mentions those of us who made them.

A Tu Música executive

The person Tu Música designated to handle the day-to-day of the project with me. I do not publish his name.

What was promised

That the master royalties would be split in halves between the artists and Tu Música.

What happened

The first royalty statement applies 50% to the songs where we signed that. On that, it matches. Payment is still pending.

What was promised

That shortly after the release we would receive a login to follow the numbers in their system, including the financial side.

What happened

Access arrived on October 8, 2026, four months after the release, with a royalty statement that starts in July. It is in The numbers.

June 16 and 17, 2026

What was promised

That a large share of the streams came from Tu Música's playlists, and that everything was going as agreed.

What happened

That is their account of the promotion work, and I include it. I cannot check it: their statement has no gross revenue and does not separate that traffic.

June 17, 2026

What was promised

That he would let me know when the promotion on Ronaldinho's accounts began. That day he sent me, as material to promote with, links to images of Ronaldinho.

What happened

The links opened 362 × 270 pixel thumbnails. He said they had arrived broken and that he would try saving them in another folder. I never received the corrected files. It is in Ronaldinho.

What was promised

That the contracts set no deadline for the posts on Ronaldinho's accounts and that they were being delivered week by week.

What happened

It is true that my contracts set no date. But three of them do set minimums and the required mention of those who made each song, and I have not seen that mention.

Allan Jesus, of ASJ Consultoria

Billboard presents him as one of the entrepreneurs who created “Camisa 10” (source). Tu Música's proposal presented the label as launched together with Grupo Sua Música and ASJ.

What was promised

It celebrated that Tu Música had passed three million monthly listeners.

What happened

For my twelve songs, the first royalty statement arrived almost three months later and covers only July. Payment is still pending.

What was promised

That he would help me resolve the breach of the agreed promotion and the payments to my team, and that I should give him time.

What happened

After that I stopped getting replies and my messages stopped being delivered. As of October 9, 2026 I have not received a solution.

August 2026

What was promised

“A verdade pode até demorar, mas uma hora ela aparece”: “the truth may take a while, but sooner or later it comes out”. He wrote it when a Rio de Janeiro court reinstated a fine against Luva de Pedreiro for breaking his contract with ASJ (source).

What happened

I share the principle: a signed contract is honored. I ask that it apply to the contracts this project signed with me too.

Why this page

An artist, producer or songwriter decides whether to sign based on what they are promised. This page shows what was promised on this project and what happened, so that anyone about to sign something similar knows what to ask and what to demand in writing.

When something was delivered, I say so too. Tu Música's account is in The other side.

The “What happened” column is what the documents I keep show; it is not a court's decision. If anyone mentioned wants to reply or correct a fact, I will publish their reply in full: contacto@juegolimpioenlamusica.com.
